ANSWERS: Rev Up Your Engine!

First Place: Peter in the red car.
Second Place: Jason in the yellow car.
Third Place: Adam in the blue car.

From the first clue, you know Jason could not be first, because then he would have beat two cars. He also cannot be third, because then he would beat nobody, and we know he is not in the blue car if he beat it, so he must be second in either yellow or red.  This also tells us that blue was third.

The second clue tells us that yellow was not first, and we know from the first clue that the blue car was third place, so yellow must be second place. This makes the red car first.

The third clue says Adam was not driving the red car, so he cannot be first, and since Jason is second, Adam must be third and that only leaves Peter to be first place in the red car.

ANSWERS: Candy Mix-up

HEATCLOCO = CHOCOLATE
FEOFET = TOFFEE
CILROCIE = LICORICE
MUGSPROD = GUMDROPS
MARASCLE = CARAMELS
LIPOSLOPL = LOLLIPOPS
