A. Megan dumped her piggy bank and found an equal number of nickels, pennies, and dimes. The total was $0.96. How many of each coin did she have?

B. Six squirrels began to gather nuts for the winter and put them in a basket. They were so fast the number of nuts in the basket doubled every minute! If the basket was completely full at the end of ten minutes, how long had it taken to get the basket half full?

C. Every student wearing a costume for Hallowe’en was assigned an even number. To walk in the parade, they had to be in order from lowest to highest. Can you put them in order?

6 nickels = 30 cents
6 pennies = 6 cents
6 dimes = 60 cents

9 minutes. It was half full, and in one more minute the contents had doubled to be full!
